I believe that the Lord wants us to speak the truth in love.  The truth is the 10 Commandments and I believe God is calling us like he called Peter, that if we love him, we will do what he commands.  He showed us how, not with human traditions, but the way Jesus did it. 

 Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?"  "Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my lambs."  Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me?"  He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you."   Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep."  The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?"  Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep.  John 21:15-18 

 

Are we going to take care of the Lord's sheep as he has shown us or are we going to stay in the comfort zone because that's they way it has been done in America for years?  Let's get back to telling others about Jesus by showing them first how they broke God's law.  We can hand out tracts that can be bought through Living Waters Ministries.  They are very appealing and unique.  They have the gospel message on them.  In fact, you can even read the whole tract right on line so you won't have to worry about buying something that you don't know what is inside.  It is all there right for you.  I hand them out everywhere I go.  You can too.  They practically give themselves away.  It can even draw a crowd if you want it to.  Someone may be saved today because of you.  Then Jesus will say to you, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."   Someone loved you enough to tell you about Jesus.   Jesus commanded us all to spread the gospel everywhere.  Some believe that meant to other nations.  It does but it also means right in our own backyard.  Just look how our nation needs Jesus.  Look at the recent hurricanes hammering the coasts of Florida.  Look at Mt. St. Helens.  Time is running out.  Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

I had a burden for the lost for years but did not know how to witness to others and when I did witness, it seemed I just made matters worse.  When I finally prayed to the Lord for guidance and help on witnessing for Him, He pointed me to Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron's ministry.  That is where I learned a lot of the subject matter contained in this website.  If you have not already done so, please make it your prayer, too.  I wasted a lot of years laboring on my own.  The Lord tells us that unless the Lord builds it, the builder labors in vain.  I don't want that to happen anymore.  I have seen more happen since educating myself with this teaching than I have seen happen in my whole life as a Christian.  The Lord has given you a ministry.  God bless you in your ministry.
